Stabi-Craft Marine pioneered positive buoyancy boats, building the first rigid hulled aluminium pontoon boat

from a back street workshop in Invercagill, New Zealand

in 1987.

Stabi-Craft models range from 14' to 28' in standard production versions offering open boats, hard tops and for the serious offshore cruiser the pilot house cabin. Larger commercial vessels such as passenger ferries and landing crafts can also be custom ordered.

Stabi-Craft Different by Design!

Some boats float better than others. That's design.

Advanced metal extrusion technology is used to create continuous pontoons

that provide a life-ring on the upper-outer extremities of the boat. Each

life-ring contains seperate air-tight chambers.

The stepped moulding of our slim-lined pontoons, once attached to the hull, create a cushion of air that allows the boat to plane over rough water.

With the addition of an air-tight chamber between the floor and hull these

boats become virtually unsinkable.

Stabi-Craft offers an aluminum boat with positive buoyancy, cuddy cabins, self bailing decks, hard tops and true off shore capabilities available all in one boat.
